Union Pines Marching Vikings, Inc. is a 501c3 charitable organization.
Purpose Statement:
Union Pines Marching Vikings, Inc. is a charitable educational music organization that teaches music and leadership skills to high school students enrolled in band. Membership is open to all band students. The purpose of the organization is to promote the advancement of education through teaching music fundamentals in addition to participation in marching and concert band competitions. Leadership skills are taught through the band's student leadership program. Funds raised are used to pay for instruments, supplies, transportation, and competition fees.
Monthly booster meetings are open to the public (the third Tuesday of each month at 6PM ET in the band room). However, only paid members have the right to vote if/when required by a motion. Visit the Schedule for the latest meeting dates/times.
